Pleuropthalma colour change

Only a guess but maybe one was more dominant to begin with and now both are mature? Such beautiful fish though - Makes me thank my lucky stars that in the uk they are legal!
 
wow?!!... that is very interesting? Has the one that changed, remained and kept the blue color? Or does it flucuate between the green? :uhoh: You try shining a flashlight directly at their bodies yet?... :confused: What size (length) are they now, btw? Please be sure to keep us all posted with any news.
 
They are really stunning WLR :headbang2 As said above it could be that a previously subdominant male has now matured, or maybe that they've paired up? My breeding sp. "assam" now show much better colours than before they were an item....
