pls help im in a ton of pain

Fishing down here in florida, saltwater. Caught a seargent major and it got me with a dorsal spine. Pretty sure it didnt get stuck (the spine) Its swelled up a ton and im having difficulty even typing. Have tried hydrogen peroxide, beandryl, anti itch cream and neosporin. Throbbing and hard to the touch

I agree, fish spine punctures can carry the bacteria, Mycobacterium marinum, and if deep enough (which it sounds like from your acute pain) to be seriously infective.

im going to ask my mom if we can get it checked out. Im getting a rash from it too

Might be an abscess let a pro deal with it at the docs. If you tried regular route of keeping it clean
