pls help on my BD

Hi to all... My female BD eat around 1 piece of market prawn a day.. when it swim up i realise that underth got two big lump just beside the mouth...Is it cause by infection or is it pregnant.. Every week water change twice. currently no picture... can expert here advise... tnks very much...

How long have you had the ray, and how long has the tank been cycled? Size, wild caught?

its a captive breed...had her for around 6month and my tank is around a year

Have you tested ur water parameters? What is on the bottom of your tank? Tank mates?

could have cut the inside of her mouth on the shells of the shrimp or on substrate, and then maybe some infection set in

1 Market prawn sounds like VERY little food! I have had 4 inch rays eat 2 of those.. I dont know what kind of market prawns you have over there, so i may be shooting in the dark.. But here in Norway, that seems like little food.

water parameter is good.PH at 6.8. the market prawn is deshell...

what about ammonia, nitrite and nitrate? we've seen plenty of people on here saying their water params are good and then after, we find out they have ammonia and/or nitrite spikes.
