Just got it last night. Can anyone tell me what strain is this fella?

i would say protopterus amphibius native to kenya cause of the external gills and dark spots, I could be wrong though cause juvy lungies have external gills present...Yours is nice dude nice pick up!

The patterning from the tail to halfway forward is classic Protopterus aethiopicus. I have P. amphibius and it has no mottled pattern or dark spots as this LF possesses.

My guess is that when I saw it was a african marble lungfish. Just hope it is for this fella is pretty small right now. It's only about 7 inches.
