Very nice!!! I'm thinking Johannas or Cr. sp.Red face pike...nice either way..
the face looks like that of a Lug. , my johanna's have a differnt looking face...
are the nostils very close to the lips?
yet the color is close to a johanna...IMO...
I'll post pic's to compare soon..

The first pic that I am posting is what my Cr. Red Johanna looks like.........the second pic is your fish.....to me they are not the same fish.....my guess is that its some kind of Cr. Lugubris pike.......Very nice fish.......Any thoughts?

the faces are different and so is the coloring of the tails and lower fins....also the tear drop in one fish and not the other...

Looks like an atabapo II to me
Definitely not "Atabapo II"... possibly "Atabapo I". That or a race of johanna. As far as it not being johanna because the pic of a johanna has varying color from yours, there are a myriad of johanna races that look very different. You can't go by color.

Look at the placement of the nostrils, johanna have nostrils that are right next to upper lip. "Atabapo I" will have nostrils that are set back just a bit.

If I had to guess right now I'd go with "Atabapo I".
