My first guess would be a Rio Araguaia Kelberi, but would be easier to tell with a better shot of its tail section.

2nd guess would be a Monoculus of some variety, maybe Peru?

Hayn or bassguy will probably answer it correctly, they're the cichla experts.

Looks like it's a Kelberi or a kelrino. Hard to tell nowadays with so many crosses popping up.
