My DIY aquarium is going to be 20'L x 5'W x 3'T. The filters and pumps will be on the right side of the tank. Thinking two Hammerheads as my return pumps. How should I plumb this tank. The overflows will be on the right side as that is were the filter will be. Should I plumb the pump returns on the right or run 20' of pipe to have the returns on the left side? The only deal with running the returns to the left side is the 20' of piping that Im worried will lower my water GPM.
Thanks

thats a long pipe. Why not do 10' for 1 pump and 10' for another, splitting the tank in half effectively?

I missed the part with your filters on the right. I was thinking you had overflows on each side. Got a pick?

I have not started the build yet. The room Im doing in the back of my shop is 20' wide so the tank will be on one end of the room with the filters and such being on the other side of the divider wall in the shop.

I see. If you plumb both pumps together your net turnover will drop compared to having them separately plumbed. What about a sumptuous on one did and t

Sorry lost an argument with my phone on that last one. I was suggesting a some on one side and your other filtration on the other

And with a tank that size you might need a few more pumps anyhow.
