the tank i am building is 6'x2'x1' so about 90 gallons i was thinking of using a 30 gallon as a wet dry but right now i have nothing
The typical size holes themselves are 1 1/2 inch for the drain and 1 1/2 inch for the return.
THe bulkheads and lines are 1" for the drain to your sump and 3/4" for the return line to your tank.
On a 90 gallon aquarium, this configuration would be fine, a 30 gallon sump is large enough to handle this size aquarium.
