Hi people, can you please post pix of your plumbing.. I'm trading my fx5 for an aqua medic malawi 1000 and I just want to see what people use as plumbing, I want to make it very neat also I don't really want to silicone the bulkheads on :P help help!
 
You don't have to silicone the bulk head in because a proper one should come with rubber rings to seal it. Thats the way mine is and i have had no leaks so far. I also used an angle pice on the inside part of the bulk head so i can move it up and down to get the water level i wanted.hope tis helps.
 
yeah I've got the rubber gasket, it was more for the setup and the pipes, I know you can use pipe or hose just wanted to see which one looks good.
