if you use a pond liner instead of sealing the wood in a ply wood tank, when you put the liner down and start stapling do you have to seal over the staples? Is it a good idea to use pond liner? and where do you guys get your glass for your ply wood tanks? a local store, online?

If you go with a pond liner all you do is lay it out and staple around the rim so sence water is never up there you don't need to seal it I know of a cople of threads where people have done mixtures of it all ply and glass with liners pond armour cement glass and liners there are combos out there for every body try searching around there is a lot of good info on this site

Test???

OK, now that it finally let me post in here. ( I tried four time before I gave up )

He is right about the stapling. There's no need to go inside the tank. Water will take care of that for you.

Glass can be bought at a local glass shop. Hoosier Glass is where I found a couple quotes.they're on the E-SE side of town.

well one of my frieds dad owns a glass shop so maby from there. and so no staples? r u guys sayin that the water will weigh it down enough?

Put staples on the outside to keep the top from falling in. Nothing major, just enough to hold.
