plywood and glass build

i am planning on building a plywood and glass tank following the garf reef tank instruction but when i put my measurements in they said it is not reccomended to build any higher thatn 24 inches. i was planning on building an 96x30x30 tank. has anyone done this and if so what kind of mods do i have to do from the original garf plans

Thicknesses should be different. The deeper the tank the stronger it needs to be.

My tank is 96x48x30 and I used 1/2" tempered that's 84"x29" you'll need to brace the top of the tank to keep it from bowing and blowing out your glass tho, but if you can build the tank making a brace will be no problem.

thanks for the tip. i was considering going with 3 top braces so all i really have to do is increase the glass thickness to 1/2" from 3/8" and i should be ok
