Hey guys.. i have a question..
i want to user MDF wood instaeed of plywood for my tank
would this be a good idea??
i like the mdf wood because of the smoothness
and would use fiber glass on the wood to seal it ..
all thoughts welcome

If you get a leak with MDF, it's ruined for good. Plywood can dry and you can seal again. MDF+water = Not good

thx much sir.. ill stick with the plywood

i would agree with bong mdf is heavy and will if not sealed inside and out absorb moisture and imo doesnt hold screws well great 4 speaker boxs probably not so great for a tank build.if u want a smooth plywood use a plywood with a maple venneer
