Would pressure treated plywood be adequate for a plywood tank, or must it be marine grade? I would assume that because of the waterproofing it doesn't matter, but I want to be sure. TIA

You’re going to have to waterproof anyway, so just use regular plywood. Assuming your plywood tank is going to be indoors, you don’t want to have to worry about potential leaching/off-gassing from pressure-treated lumber.

Investing in higher grade plywood could be worthwhile to help avoid the void spaces that are sometimes present in cheaper plywood.
