Plywood tank bulkheads

Im looking for a place i can order bulkheads that will go through 3/4 inch bulkheads. Its the last thing i need to order to complete my plyeood tank pls help need link

hey rivermud, would 1 inch drain be good enough for around 300 gph? i was thinking 1 inch drain 3/4 return with a ball valve. its a mag5 traveling past 2 90s and 57" of pipe. everything else is ordered on its way for me to complete gonna work on stand and canopy this weekend.

Depending on your design you may have issues with 3/4 return. A design like mine has a horizontal type flow and thus is reduced. A 1 inch vertical drain would more than handle 300 gph though the flow rates are always a bit reduced with elbows and such causing friction. the return will be a mag 5 the threads that return it are 3/4 it will go up past 3 elbows and about 55 inches of pipe 47 inches of it verticly up. will this work? its for a refugium so slow flow isnt bad i also have a fluval fx5 that will be on the tank for more flow and mechanical/biological filtration

Jehmco sells bulkheads for about $5 each, and gives you the bore hole you require for each sizing.

bought the above from them, fit a 2.25 diameter inch hole, and was 1.5" deep and threaded inside and out for $5.50
