in the diy tank forum theres a sticky to help heres a link

1/2 inch is good does the length and width not matter then?? just the height allso can any one tell me what 10 mm equals in inches cuz i cant seem to figure it out lol thanks guys i will be posting pics when i start it

thanks again

no not really its more about the height of the tank. 10mm is .39 inches. theres a conversions tab at the top of the forum next to the blog tab

"IMO 1/2" glass up to 24" tall should be fine."

"no not really its more about the height of the tank."

I agree. Better to be on the safe side. Good luck on your build.
