Hi all I’m starting my second plywood tank build, one much larger then the first. This time around I won’t be able to bring the tank into the house built I will will have to assemble it in the house since it won’t fit threw my doors. This time I plan on doing a double layer lap joined tank for ease of bringing it in. I would poke shield the inside layer on of it then screw it to the back side making the epoxy part raiser then a assembled tank but my question is regarding different ways to seal it. The last time I built it was small enough that I have no issue epoxying the joints and putting the tank of the edge to let it cure and do a few coats to make it all waterproof. This time around I’m looking for people to weight in on which method of edge sealing they prefer more, the silicone it like a glass tank method or the fibreglass weave and epoxy method.
Thanks all
