Plywood Tank w/ pond lining instead of epoxy?

Anybody try this ? Is the resin/epoxy/fiberglass method structurally important ?


If the lining would work... Could you possibly support the wood externally with 2x4 bracing on the top / bottom of the tank ?




Also, wondering if there is another super cheap way to go about this?

haha, thanks much. I searched but didn't find anything.

Im looking to build a plywood tank eventually, id love to cut costs of course, but I need a viewing pane, a pool would be interesting but not for what I want to keep myself.
