Sorry about that Dude...............I just can't help it.
A plywood tank is just a tank made of plywood instead of glass. They usually seal the plywood with epoxy or plastic or other material to prevent it from leaking. Only the front will be glass for viewing.

What I can't beleive is that you've looked at all these posts apparently and haven't seen a pic of one...
What Arl is telling you is true 3 sided box with the 4th side as a window... water proofed obviously ...
Use the search function and I'm sure you'll find some threads with some nice ones that you can see... As a matter of fact... Arl happens to have a 700 gallon plywood that he just built... http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85132
