Plywood tank.

I was thinking about building an 8' x 4' x 3' tall aquarium out of either acrylic or plywood. I know the plywood would be much cheaper to build, but kinda concerned about leaks. I have seen a few different methods for sealing these plywood aquariums and was wondering if people here could just give me some of their insights on different sealers they have used and why they liked them.

Thank you for hooking me up with these threads. A lot of good information there. Still not sure how I would seal it though. I don't like messing with fiberglass, not sure about pond paint, but the pond liner looks good, just making it seal is my real question. But now I can take the time to read through the different builds you all have pointed me in the right direction to.
