Plz help sexing 2 flowerhorns

Is this fish eating and pooping normally? I'm wondering if that is an egg tube or a rectal prolapse???
The first picture with the first fish is not clear enough. The second picture looks to be female but the picture of the vent could be better. If you take them out of the water in a net and gently flip them over inside of the net, and get vent pics that way it is usually the clearer way of telling gender. Just don't let a glare or flash from your camera distort the vent area that needs to be seen for more people to be able to make an accurate assessment.
