plz help with my shrimps

i want to set up a ghost shrimp or crs tank or could i have both in 1 tank?

i have the decorations but i need to know how to filter the water
i will use a 10 gal tank and was thinking of using a little in tank filter but im afraid of sucking up the babies so annnnny info on keeping the shrimp safe that i can diy but still have clean water with out daily water changes plzz let me know

how would i go about that if the intake is the bottom of a intank filter rather then a over the back with a pipe as a intake?
and what type of spounge i dont want to have little to no water flow but i dont want it to high and suck in the babies
