How many firecracker could be kept in a 55, and how long would it take them to "pair" off to breeding pairs? or do they form pairs. i have donesome reading and i am getting mixed answers from different websites. so i guess my questions are, what is sexual mature age/size, once they "pair" off, what are the real breeding parameters? i have found a couple diffenet sites and they contridict each other on these topics, as always any help is much helpful!!!

Tropheous moori.

I believe.

Cool little fish, the wifey bought 2 at about 1", they are now just over 2 1/2" and have great colors. They grow very quickly, also.

they are african rift lake cichlids i believe, tanganykins....but honestly i bought them because of the color they would get.
I know they arent South americans, but Yes they are the tropheus morii

They are pretty fish

They are african and they are a algea grazer. They do very poor with any other type of food, there digestive track is long and straight so they can suffer from bloat very easily and they die. Spirlina flakes or pellets are the best and the are easily bread. Keep them in a spiecies tank and they will do fine. I've kept around 8 in a fifty five with lots of rocks and with in a mounth i had carrying females.

have had my 3 for about 2 years now. they eat everything,
They are on a diet of frozen blood worms, algea strips, algea flakes, formula 1 flake, live feeder guppys, and earthworms. they are healthy and sexy*S*
