I don't think so. None of the snails available in the trade are venomous.

I agree. Quarantine the wild caught snails for at least four weeks. Captive bred ones are not an issue and nerites, being wild caught, were never an issue most of the time. They don't carry any disease that would affect the fish but they make great vectors of transferring parasites to humans especially meningitis from the infamous giant African land snail (GALS) which is a primary reason for its ban of import entry to USA besides the potential vegetative damage they may cause.
