Anyone also enjoy these? They are fanmade games that use the engine from an existing game to emulate. They have new regions, new "fanmons" and IMO a far better story line. The ones I've played have included pickachu swearing at you, people and pokemon being murdered and drunks. Quite fun and refreshing

Closest I've gotten is playing the "Master Quest" version of Ocarina of Time. Been considering a raspberry pi MAME setup in the garage to play some older and hacked games.

Hey if that gets boring try a hack, Pokemon glazed! Is awesome, so is Light Platinum. Those are GBA though, ime the best emulator for Droid are the V series, like vgba or vgbc they have cheat codes built in so you can get any pokemon you want at any time. Last time I played through firered I had ho-oh, mew, tyranitar, charizard, raikou, mewtwo, celebi, metagross etc. Basically all legendary and fossil types since the beginning. You can also get rare Candy's and master balls very easily with the cheats so I usually start with a hundred of each
