Polaroid TV repair ? HELP

I've been looking everywhere for help with this. My B-I-L gave me a 37" Polaroid TV because it takes forever to come on.(hr.) Can anyone tell me what may be the problem? Thanks. PS. Or a FREE site I could go to.

They have a 1800 number, which i dont have on me right now. My remote went out for my Polaroid T.V. and i had to get a new one. There customer service sucks. I had to call three times just to get them to actually send me the remote and it took forever to get to me..... anyway when i get home and if you still need the # i'll get it for you.
