Howdy yall!!!! Long time no talk lol.
I have a few questions about polespears. My dad and i went fishing about a week ago didnt catch anything but as we were wading, we kept seeing lots of goodsized carp that we could use for cut bait. But we couldnt entice carp to bite. So i did a little research on regs and found that you can take non game fish with a spear in Texas. Im going to get a pole spear but i dont neccesarily know if i should just get a cheap job or splurge on a cadillac. So im here humbly asking if you all have knowledge about this ancient form of fishing and some advice as to my above question.
