He's been looking rather stunning lately, so I decided to have a polit photo shoot today (which turned into a pleasant surprise, check out my other thread!). Anyway, here's the little snow white beauty

Thanks for this great pics. What an amazing fish these are. My son would kill to have one of these but they are difficult to come by here in South Africa. When you do find them they tend to be quite expensive compared to the others. Refering to wild caught's.
Oh, its not just there, don't worry. Polits are actually quite rare in the hobby everywhere, took me ages to track these guys down...and I paid an arm and a leg for them! They're not WC, they're F1.
If my supplier still has a couple I think I will take some off of him. My son, when he first saw the polit in AD Konings Malawi cichlid book he said we should get some but the initial price was rather scary. Your pics have made me look at changing my mind. Thanks once again.
