Ok, so i was having this discussion with a friend and she tends to disagree with me on this subject. I tell her that men in general don't like high-maintenance women. i think i can safely speak for most guys when i say for a real relationship, men prefer a laid-back, low-maintenance, girl-next-door type that is not obsessed with expensive name brands. we like a girl that is attractive dressed up and dressed down. she looks just as good in a pony tail, no make up, jeans, and a tank top.
she is totally obsessed with expensive name brands. if its not expensive and name brand, it's not good enough. from her hair down to her shoes, everything has to be expensive. jewelry, perfume, purse, outfit, nails, makeup, everything. she likes to run marathons and even has to have coordinating outfits and shoes. im like really?
i tell her that its actually a turn-off for guys and she doesnt believe. the guys that she is trying to "impress" could care less about how expensive her shoes or purse was. all we think when we see a girl like that is that she's a walking financial liability. and in reality, she's just doing it to show off for other girls.
i tell her that i think that these froo-foo latte-sipping spray tan high-maintenance chicks are overly-materialistic, fake, superficial, tacky, and shallow and are usually the ones that end up single for a long time because they just ward off men. in fact, i think of girls like this as nothing more than eye-candy. nice to look at, but i wouldnt even want to have a conversation with them.
so what does MFK think? do you guys like this types of women? or am i tripping?
