poly at walmart

since when did walmart start selling polys and what kind are they? they are labled "dinosaur eel" def. a polypterus though. they were about 2-3 inches long. has anyone else seen them at walmart?

Yeah I've seen them there. I've only seen Polypterus senegalus there... tiny lil babies.

dinosaur eel, dinosaur bichir, dragon bichir, and dragon eel all seem to be common names for sens... i guess bc they sound 'cool' lol

although I always check bichir tanks looking for mistakes... haven't found any so far though but I know people on here have and gotten hella deals. And a guy at the LFS told me they get mix ups in the sen tanks all the time when I asked him if he got any different bichirs in

i am always on the lookout for mislabled fish too. you never know when you will find an awesome deal!
