I went to my Lfs today and saw a new shipment of polys which came in from indonesia.Here in Singapore they're very common ,also seen massive ones but Idk what species.Is there any species that does grow too big and can live in a 3-4 foot tank? I like the patterns of the endlicheri what about those?

Look into delhezi bichirs.

Endlicheri can grow over 2' and over.

How big does the delhezi ,palmas grow?

About 35/40cm.

Never saw much bigger than that.

Ohh thx ,the guy at the lfs told something about a WC senegel (is that how you spell it?) they had in stock ,do they get to big for a 65 gallons tank? I think it's 4 foot long.I'm giving my african cichlids so that tank is empty now,would like to use it for polypterus

IMO senegal would be a nice piece for the thank.

You just have to make sure that the senegal isn't the P. senegalus meridionalis, cause they get bigger than the regular senegalus.
