Wonder why so much research on axolotls and not polys with the regeneration. Maybe because axols can regen more at a faster rate. I know a few meds have been made from axol research. 1 being the anti rejection drugs given to transplant recipients. Maybe because the readily breed in captivity.

My second largest Ropefish is actually slowly but steadily regrowing his entire lower jaw. I'm very excited to see what the end result will be.

I had a sen that was missing several fins and never regrew them. Some people said they'd probably been bitten off, but I always believed it was a genetic defect and this has strengthened my opinion. Very interesting!
