Poly FOOD AT THE MARKET

Hi has any one ever tried smelt from the supper market to feed there Poly,s I have now for about six month to test the food it s cheap and you get a lot 4.99 a bag and you all most at a lb of it. just cut it up to the size you like stuff with some veggie tablets or algee waffers and feed. my fish love it I also mix it with krill and clam,make sure its the fast frozen smelt its cleaned and just frozen nothing added.

A lot of people feed smelt to their bichirs, really good for them but it stinks and messes up your water. The bigger guys can eat them whole !

I feed all my fish smelt. You can get the gutted version, but the eggs is really beneficial. It doesn't get that messy...

I feed my fish smelt when i can find it good cheap food theres alot of other foods at the super market to that are great too

Asian markets = best place to get cheap fish food. Small shrimp, almost krill sized for only $3 per pound. I'm stocking up next time I'm there.
