Question for you guys. I'm new to polypterus. I want stock my 125 gal with angelfish, festivums, columbian blue green tetras, and a poly. Is this a bad idea or tetras be okay?

Poly will get twelve inches plus and eat anything that fits in its mouth. In my tank I have two bala sharks, two pictus cats, an angel, and two bichirs. One of them is only four inches and he ate three of my feeders which were the size of large neon tetras. If it fits, its eaten.

Chances are that if it isn't as big or smaller than your thumb it's too small. to keep with a poly

55 unless you get a bigger breed. Make sure its wider front to back than the fish is long
