I have a 120, w/2 large jags and a gar.any chance of keeping a bichir in the tank as well?

If the jags are good w/ a gar chances are they'd be good w/ a bichir, I would stand at the ready to separate just in case but I've never had problems w/ bichir and cichlids.. I've kept em w/ pbass, green texas, festae, a. stalsbergi, couple different kinds of geophagus, and severum. Never an issue, you might want to go for a big one though if the jags are chunky

What are the dimensions on the tank?
If you had a couple of hiding spots and the polypterus was on the larger side I would think it'd be worth a try.
