My red hi fin wolf has this habit of getting bored and trying to interact with the bichir, which leads to him literally pushing it around with its head (not biting, literally pushing) to the point that my Ornate Bichir whips around and bites him. Everyone said say goodbye to my ornates beautiful fins when I got the red hi fin, and I'm finding its quite the other way around after a couple months of observation

My leopard ctenopoma will headbut my Senegal and push her around with his body. I've seen her run head first into him a few times but nobody ever bites. Honestly I think they are both a little thick lol.

hahaha I had that same combo a couple years back, they did great together! I did notice the cten doing that too, was very entertaining lol. I never had any nips either, senegals do pretty good with tankmates never had one nip at anything other then the guppies I used to breed to feed it

They are the oddest pair, totally inseparable!

when I had my blood parrot he would dig his own holes, and when my polys would come over he'd start nudging them out lol. It was pretty funny cause they never got the hint to stay out so eventually the blood parrot gave-up and moved to another corner and then my polys started doing the same thing lol. It was just like a constant cycle.

haha that sounds hilarious, yeah polys really don't like being bossed around, whenever I tried to move mine to vac his spot out its always a struggle, just gently and softly nudging him over lol. Polys are awesome, can't wait to get one of the palmas complex, leaning towards gold dust
