Polyfilter Use

anyone use polyfilter all the time with carbon or on its own?

The polyfiber stuffing from the crafts store? I have that in my sump as my mechanical filtration, cheap and keeps the water crystal clear. No complaints here

I use polyfiber all the time, its cheap and works great. It comes in rolls so you can cut it to fit any filter.

Sorry guys I am speaking of Polyfilter pad not floss, its a chemical media pad around for 30 years used it on the marine side for twenty years, curious who else uses it.
