Polyodon Spathula a.k.a paddlefish

I just bought 6 polys 7-8cm, they are imported from China. They have been reconditioned to live in the tropical water (27C-29c) . They feed on Red bloodworms until they approach 15cm. Anyone please give me some tricks to keep them... thankyou

Kool looking little guys. I dont know much about paddlefish other than they get huge. I see them at the local hatchery allthe time. That being said I believe they can get between 5-7 feet. What are your long term plans for keeping these guys. Not trying to be a downer. I wish I could be more help. Awesome again awesome looking fish.

I wish I could keep them. They sure are cool. In case you didn't know though, they tend to do poorly in tanks with edges becuz they smash up their noses. Round circular tanks are better for them.

Keep in either a very large circular tank of large volume or even better an outdoor pond.

okay guys, now they're in 100x80x50cm tank, the seller told me to move them into pond at 15cm. thanks to you all
