Polypterus and geos???

I have a 75 gallon that i just setup with 4 giant danios as starter dither fish. The tank will be for geos(not sure which species yet) and I was wondering if I would be able to put a polypterus in there. I can move the danios if need be.

As long as you have a hiding space for the poly, keep in mind that Cichlids are always Semi-aggressive, they do coexist with other species but its going to be by chance.

It seems most cichlids pretty much ignore polys but even my passive pearsei has on occasion physically 'moved' a poly out of her way to get to food. As long as it is mild behavior like that you are fine but if you do have an aggressive geo, you should have a plan for what to do with either the aggressor or the poly. (spare tank?)
