What was he eating before you got him. Maybe that is what you will have to do. Also try feeding after the lights are out.
 
That's a monster PBB. Don't be surprised if not well fed he will find his own food. Lol.

im thinkin the snapping at others could be due to hunger
 
not too sure as I never ask seller...will try lights off feeding...thks...

one more thing...this 22"PBB keep snapping at other fishes...is it normal ?...
It would take you 7-9 days for it to settle down and eat. Try dimming your light or light one side of the tank only. Feed massivores and diced up tilapia.

In two weeks it should stop nipping but nipping is normal for large bichirs. Keep an eyes on your smaller fish.

okok...Thk u bros...now I never switch on the lights no nipping but still waiting for her to eat...=)...guess not used to the environment...
