Polypterus delhezi Day 1~35 from hatching

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
congrats on the baby dels! They look great.

Do you mind posting what you feed them at the certain stages of development (days 1-7, 8-14, etc. ) ? Do they require certain types of food or macronutrient ratios when they are at certain stages? ie) yolk sac, no yolk sac.

My hypothesis is that the yolk sac provides them with a high fat and high protein ratio, but any insight on nutrition and what you feed/they eat as they grow would be really informative :)

Yes this information would be very useful and may help me greatly in raising my Senegal fry past 1 cm. If you can provide us with details on the ideal tank temp, water change schedule and feeding schedule and the different food sources you use at different sizes once the yolk sac is depleted that would be amazing :)

I have looked at her threads but it doesn't seem to go into enough detail. May include tank temp but not water change schedule and food sources for fry at different sizes etc. The key info I need.

I'll be interested as well. I'm starting to give up on my senegals.

Yeah I know the feeling......I think we are going wrong with either their diet at different sizes or not keeping up with the high level of maintenance required (daily water changes) I think may be needed. I am trying the daily water changes with my current fry batch.
