I have a 9 inch Polypterus delhezi and i have had him for 2 weeks or so and i have yet to see him eat. I put some freeze dried shrimp in every night and some sinking shrimp pellets in every night before bed. They are gone in the morning but i also have some synodontis cats and a firemouth that may be eating the food. Should i be worried? he comes out after the lights go out and swims around but like i said i havent seen him eat. any help is appritiated. Im new to large fish.

Try some fresh shrimp or tilapia fillets cut into bite sized pieces. Mine have never been fond of shrimp pellets, and I don't feed freeze dried.
Some New Life Spectrum pellets or Hikari Massivore should also work.
