Polypterus diet and growing out.

Howdy poly keepers.

I am tring to make a better diet for my polys. currently i give them wafers and large pellets but have been thinking about giving them hilkari carnivore wafers. i also give them some tilapia and shrimp.

In about a month i will be leaving for the coast guard and my parents have agreed to care for them so the diet needs to be pretty simple. I would like to be able to feed them frozen hole fish but i don't know where i can find small fish like that for a decent price.

I am also growing a small group out i have had them for a few months and they have only grown an inch or 2, any suggestions on growing them faster?

And anyone know where i can get a polypterus mokembembe?

Hikari carnivore sinking pellet will be a good staple, also tilapia, and for small frozen fish you can go to any asian market and look for frozen smelt.

Personally I think you have a good variety of foods and I would just cut up a few fillets of Tilapia. That would be simpler for your parents. You can try the Wetspot for the Moke.

What type of polys are you growing out now? Senegal, Delhezi, etc?
