So i bought a poly endilcheri. But iv read there are two sub species. Is there a way of telling me which I have?uploadfromtaptalk1357011831665.jpg

Im only asking because I saw one some sites that one gets to 15" max and the other gets to 39"

the 15 inchers are those crummy captive mass bred endlis. The 39 inchers are those wild congicus endlis. i've never seen them that big though!
 
Meh i can live with him being a solid 15. Its not crummy cuz its mass bred, i mean it lowers rarity but it also makes the species more accessible to people.

I would not go as far as saying they are crummy, but with mass breed endilicheris you will come across a lot of issues, defects and deformities.and the over all look of the fish no longer look like a wild endilicheri.
Now is there anything wrong with having or buying one nope,as long as you know what to look for and know what you might be getting.

Any tips on how to get him to love pellets? The pet shop was feeding them guppy feeders, but hes young still, 4".
