hi im ray im into polypterus endlicher conicus and other larger poly. i want to know how do u tell the differince between congicus and a endlicheri when there young. how fast does it grow? also could it be kept with arowana and clown knife. how much would it cost to get one in Los Anglese? what other large poly would u recomend me?

Yes they will be ssafe with the aros and knife as long as the size difference are about the same.

P. endlicheri congicus at juvenile's head looks a lot more like a P bichir lapradei "Nigerian".

P. endlicheri congicus have 8-10 stripes, while p, endlicheri endlicheri have 5-6 stripes.
