How long can I keep a senegal in a 29? He's about 4 inches. I would need to keep him there for about 4 or 5 months tops.. if that wont work I guess I can set up a 40 breeder but I'd rather not if I don't have to.

I have a 7 year old senegal, and honestly I was younger and just bought it from petsmart, it spent most of its life in a 12g. If you keep up on water changes, and the footprint is atleast 24X12, then it will be fine for awhile...but would be much better in a 55, or even a 40.
