Any one know of any LFS in south Florida from the keys to Palm Beach that currently has polypterus in stock other than Senegals or Ornates? Preferably young ones less than 6 inches in length?

I hear a lot about certain shops but when I get there they haven't been in stock for months...

Any recent sightings?

They have one Endli left at Beverly's Pet Center. Its marked as a Lap and listed on tank for 79 dollars... Just in case any one is also looking and to help get this thread rolling a bit more...

I never see anyone stocking anything but sens and ornates, and the ornates are pretty rare. Seems the next most available species is endli, which sucks for me because I don't have room for an adult right now. I want upper jaws!!!lol

Anything online unnerves me a little. The whole not being able to pick my fish thing sucks. Some of the vendors here have enough feedback that I would trust them but I'd much rather buy in person unfortunately.

x2

I know they get shipped to the LFS just like they would be shipped to me, but it just means a lot to be able to see the damn thing before paying.
