Polypterus ornatapinnis and it's friend

So I wanna throw this out there...

I have a 8-9" Polypterus Ornatapinnis, and it just lays on my 10" or so Oxydoras Niger Catfish. Is this normal, are they always so lazy? I've had it for 4 or so months now and it's been such a chill lazy fish ever since. I've got a 4" Sene whos all over the map, Ornate not so much...

really? my ornates are the more active bichirs in my tank. hopefully they dont become the most aggressive.

Ornates are usually lazy when the lights are on, but at night they go on the move.

Iv'e had my 2 Ornates for 4 years now. They are shy when the lights are on but always active when feeding. They are also active at night or low light, as long as I am not moving around the tank.
