Yes that is one reference that I have used. If going only off the merits of that link I would come to the conclusion that is a buttikoferi. However there are some other descriptors that I have read that make me think it is palmas palmas in other readings. I for one am leaning towards a buttikoferi, I do have some reservations. Granted the pictures aren't the best but this dude is very elusive.

The reason for this post isn't to prove anyone right or wrong but to get to real identification.

What makes you so sure?

I see only 22 or 23 predorsal scales
You can tell by the pattern, beuttikoferi dont have thick black vertical patterns but palmas palmas do.

As you can see the pattern have really thin vertical lines similar to a WC teugelsi.
