Polypterus palmus

I saw one of these in a lfs for $20 at like 4" is this a good deal? Would one of them be fine in a 60 gallon with discus, angles, arowana, and ray(arowana and ray are being moved out soon)? Thanks realy like him but decided not to buy with out info but going there tomorow so trying to get info.

Depends on how big the Aro is, just make sure the Poly doesn't get eaten. I think $20 is a fair price for a Palmas.

My arowana is 10" but i had a 1" fish in there with him (botom dweller) and he hasnt harmded him so i think hes docial. So is he a problem

if you ever give your arrow tank mate and they are fine..
i guarantee that poly will fine..

Divide the tank and let him growout next to the aro to get used to company then when about 6" or so enter him in with the aro.

All you see is sens and ornates around here.If i saw a palmas in a LFS out here i'd reach in and grab it!20$ seems crazy nice.

I didnt get him i will probley grab one or a couple once i move my aro and my ray out. I just didnt want to lose a fish to my stupidity tanks for your help
