Polypterus senegalus spot

i just got my 4 Polypterus senegalus i bought online .
they are all in my tank swimming around but one seems to have what looks like a large spot over one side above its rear fin.

can anyone help me ?

its most likely unslighlty bichir blemish not a problem. Can you get a picture?

ok got a few pics of which two came out ok . he is the only one who is hiding the rest are out exploring the tank

btw that bottle top is one of my diy filters .

he is eating but is this some thing he will have his life or an illness ?

At this time I'm staying with the unslightly bichir blemish its not uncommon and nothing to worry about-Anne

doesn't look good but it shouldn't kill the bichir if it grows as the fish gets older you may need to remove it

how would i go about this .
give it a few months and if it does not change i would qt him in a small tank .put him to sleep with clove oil then just use a scalpel then clean up with medical wipes then let him heal in the small tank with some salt ?
